Along the flight path to wisdom, 24” by 36”, encaustic mixed media on wood panel

I love to watch ravens, marveling at their size, and their brave and brazen attitudes.  It’s wonderful to listen to their ever varied conversations, and see them in all sorts of weather: all puffed up in the dead of winter, their chin feathers and wing tips blowing in the wind, always resourceful and creative.  It is this spirit of the Ravens that I want to celebrate.   The idea that they have been through an ordeal or two, and come through a little rough around the edges, but still beautiful, with stories to tell.   ...More raven paintings to come.
